Deka Marine Batteries

I just purchased a Deka deep cycle marine battery for my boat. So far this is the best marine battery I have owned for cost basis and it is made in the USA.  Does any one else have a Deka?

I was always an interstate user also.   They are good(one I exchanged was 8 years old) but so far the Deka has been good for me.  Pushes the boat faster and holds up longer.  Time will tell I guess.

    I use Everstart Batteries.

There is a ton of different brands of batteries, but Johnson Control makes most of them, Interstate and Everstart included.

I replaced my starting battery last season and my trolling motor batteries this season with group 31 Duracell AGM's.  They are made by Deka.  I haven't had the boat on the water yet to see how the trolling motor handles.  Couldn't be happier with the starting battery though.  It starts the motor and runs 3 graphs and my other electronics all day with no problem.

Sure they do, golf carts, fork lifts, etc use 36 volt batteries.  If ya got some really deep pockets, check these, (made for trolling motors) babies out.  Remember I said deeeeeep pockets.  https://www.lithiumpros.c...lication/marine/

I have a Minn-Kota 112 thrush and use 3 Interstate battery's with the 36 volt quick connect set up and love it. I have a extra 36 volt quick connect that's brand new for sale at $100.00 if someone needs one. Bought 2 by accident and couldn't return it
