That's cool.  I go to the Lewiston/Auburn area every summer, sometimes in the winter too.  I do 90% fly fishing, but they live on a lake, so I'll take out their boat and catch a few largemouth bass also.  It's often too windy for the flyrod.

I've been exploring the southwestern part of Maine more and more every trip.  None of my inlaws fish at all, so I've been kind of winging and have had some great successes, and some huge misses while looking for spots.  I do have two or three streams that have been pretty good to me, but I know I can find some better places too.  I'd prefer not to post any stream names on the board though.  If you have any advice, I'd appreciate it.  Feel free to contact me by Private Message.

I've not been there at the right time of year for any landlock runs or anything.  It's usually early to mid summer.

take it easy.

Wow, that sunrise shot looks great even on my antiquated computer!  Those kokanee are beautiful fish, but give me one of those big male atlantics (looks like - and must be like landing - a small manatee).

Took these on Saturday down at the Peninsula.  Lots and lots of ducks in the open water areas.
