steelhead ??

Does anyone know how far steelhead can travel in a single day ?

    Lol, I think if conditions are right its around 3-7 miles??? i read that somewhere i believe. Im sure that number is so varied and dependent on things though.

    those fish are bound and determined to get upstream so who really knows... probably a lot further than we'd think... i've caught "chrome" up near 79....

    Pacific Steelhead have been tagged and traveled 25 miles in  single day with flow and no obstructions. I heard from an independent study by biology college students tagged fish a few years ago that in 2 days it went from access on Elk to Rick Rd hole. I have little doubt they can travel further in a days time when instinct kicks in and flow and temperature permits.

    Fishing is one jerk waiting for another on the other end.
