Report 10/25

I drove to all east side creeks. Low and clear, with everyone saying it was slim pickins. I got out and looked at 12, 16 and 20-pitiful.
Walnut has fish and people. I'm sure I coulda squeezed in and caught some fish like I did last wk but I didn't have the heart.
Elk at legion to rt 20-some fish but couldnt see em. Lots of jumps, surfacing and activity. In 2 hrs of fishing I saw 1 guy out of about 20 catch 3 fish-all on skein. I rolled one on a streamer but wasn't paying attention and missed it! The ironic part: I was telling a story about last trip when I put my rod down for a sec and it gettin slammed and almost pulled in. So tellin a story about not paying attention and gettin a hit as I was not payin attention and got a hit!
My buddy rolled a few in faster water. Good flow and color at elk. Maybe it'll get better in November. It can't get much worse. Temps dropping this week. We shall see.

Haven't trib fished in a couple of years. These things are still as dumb as they ever were!

would like to come up and fish one day next week but then again no body works now a days so it'll prob be jam packed on a week day aslo...

I didn't know the creeks were high enough to get your boat up them!
