Ontario , Niagara River and Bar area. Shore or boat Lakers can be caught steady. Lots of pics of Lakers being caught. Fall or Spring action. http://community.webshots.com/user/captainhook107  This is a good friend with a 20# Niagara River Laker. ( Released )

Definitely not the best eating fish out there but if you cook up (grille) one of the smaller ones (10# or less) fresh, it isn't too bad.  I wouldn't recommend trying to freeze them.  Never tried them smoked but I imagine they would taste alright that way.

i loove the steal head smoked from poor richards, i wounder if they would do a laker like that?

that kind of rises a question...why dont they smoke trout? they would make a killing from the bucket brigade once the trout season opens and they catch all the pelletheads...
