Tamarack was still a little soft when I was there Sat and Sun. Started out at Conneaut lake sat morning, lot's of fish on the Aqua - Vu but not much happening. Left there and went out to Tamarack. Maybe 3" of good ice at best where I was at. Did get to drill a couple holes on Sun and catch a couple gills and 1 very nice crappie. Looks like this weeks warmup will be the end of the good ice at tamarack. Conneaut lake should still be OK after the warmup. Suprised I did not see anyone else on the ice this weekend. I did not go along Tamarack looking for better ice - so there maybe some spots that are thicker. I was at the boat launch (2nd one - far side).
