Conneaut Ice

Conneaut is freezing over pretty good. Spent Sat morning near the canal in about 3 1/2" - 4" of ice. Still some pretty good slush under the snow. caught 10 or so small Gills and a couple decent white bass. Saw lot's of fish on the Aqua-Vu. Maybe by mid week it will pick up. MIght be lucky enough and still have decent ice during this weeks warm-up. I know I will be there. The lake is only about 1/2 mile from my work. Don't mind the creeking of the ice when you walk - once you get out 10-12 feet off shore it stops. All fish caught jigging -

The south end is pretty shaky from what I have heard, 1 to 2" at best.  North end ought to still be good, and hold some pike for those that like to watch the flags fly!
