I went to see how thick the ice was on Saturday(6 inches).  I saw 2 guys in the middle and a few huts on east side of the lake.  I guess they don't post reports here.

I got to school in Edinboro, a few buddies of mine have been out a couple times.  They went out this past sunday and said there was around 5-6 inches, didint do any good.  I might try it tommarow.  I'll report back.

Great ice on edinboro, 5-8 inches.  Fished an hour and a half in the afternoon, 6 perch, pretty slow.

Thanks for the info. Where did you come on from. I've been looking to get out on the lake for quite awhile but it has'nt looked very good. If anyone is looking for smallish gills go to the fingers, you'll catch them by them by the bucket full.

Went off the beach.  Fished it again thursday night, a bunch of decent gills and few small perch right off the channel that flows into town.  6-9 ft of water. Fishing it again tommarow morning.

How deep is that lake at the deepest point?

Better too far back, than too far forward.

If you email edinborolake@edinboro.edu and ask for a map, someone will send you a recent bathymetric map of the lake.  It took a few days for a response.

Hey Krott was out this morning on the "99" side almost at the point and saw a group of guys heading out to where you said you were fishing. Was that you, and if so did you do any good. Bite was pretty slow on my side of the lake. Did land one bass about 17" but got alot of dink perch until then and the gills were few and far between.

^^Could have been me and 2 other guys.  We started off of the beach and ended up by the cemetary.  The bite was very slow.  We managed only 3 small perch in 4 hours.
