Checking some various online sources, sounds like smaller cricks are mostly clear of ice but bigger ones have some ice jams at the mouths and in some upstream sections with fishable sections in between.
FishUSA posted a vid this afternoon on Facebook from one of their staff that was about to step into the water when a big jam upstream busted loose and filled the stream with a rush of muddy water, debris and ice chunks.

Check out Uncle John's webcam this morning. Flooded bank to bank yesterday. Plugged with ice bank to bank today.
Walnut gauge at 11 feet.
Cricks are getting a good scrubbing this weekend

Maybe some of my favorite stretches that were ruined in the past will get restored with this blow out!

Plugged with ice is an understatement. Just checked out Uncle John's cam and that there is a meat grinder. On the positive side, once that ice melts, spring steelhead fishing should be good to go . (provided there are any fish around)

This stinks!!! In years past I caught steelhead in every month of winter. Past two years it's been crap.
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

As of yesterday the cricks were blown wide open. High raging muddy water. Elk and Walnut are no longer called a crik, they look more like rivers
