Ice fishing for smelt

Has anyone been catching any smelt ice fishing in the bay or Misery Bay?

    I didn't catch any Sunday but I did see several cruise by my hole out in the middle of the bay off of Dobbins Landing.

    It's been a few years... 5 or so, since I caught any smelt out there. I was pretty good at catching them when they were around. The trick is a small piece of yarn tied on the hook. Their crazy needle teeth(even on their tongue) get snagged on the fuzzies.
