Any safe ice





Anyone know of any safe ice around  Indiana,Armstrong, or Westmorland counties. I got a itch that needs scratched somthin feirce.

    Licken' , I fished Yellow Creek Lake off the North Shore today. It was a good 4-4.5" in the bay area. It went down to about three near the main lake. Good clear ice with fresh snow on top.   Lou

    Anyone been to yellow creek lake, was wonderin how much ice at grandma/grandpa coves or at the breast.

    Licken' I fished it last Thurs. out of the North Shore launch. The ice was 4" and got a little thinner as you went out to the main body. I would think if you can get on the lake on the east side the ice would be relatively safe. It's supposed to get colder tomorrow and should solidify the top slushy area.  Lou

    May make it there this weekend, thought bout it yesterday but decided to stay closer to home 3 of us managed 3 legal+  pike & a few nice perch all n all slow day though.  Fished from before sun up til bout 4.
