is there such a thing as too cold?

 think  sub-zero  for some  thick safe ice on the bigger waters. Febuary countdown!

    Hi, but maybe you should think Green Bay.  Up here the lakes have finally gotten good ice cover, but I'm sure Lake George is still open.  Let me know if you decide to come up this way, as my invitation is still open for you and another guy.  Just give me enough notice to prepare for your visit.
    Doing better on perch/crappies at Saratoga Lake, but not much luck with walleyes/pike.  Have seen lots of action on Lake Lonely with a couple pike caught, but none bragging size (largest was 28").  Regular season opening day on Lake Lonely there was a pike caught that was 48" long.  Picture of fish is on display at Lake Lonely Boat Livery.
    A few of us are trying our luck on the Great Sacandaga Friday, so I will let you know how we make out.
