Sharpsburgh Ramp

When are they going to open the ramp?  Walleye season opens on Saturday and I would like to launch my boat.

With all the rain we have had, you may want to think about getting out on the river.  might be blown out for awhile.

I don't think its going to be anytime soon. They have a lot of work planned for it.

They were suppose to have a DC10 to push the slab in on Monday.  It's been two weeks that they have been attempting to place the slab.  If it was Southside it would be in already.

The Borough is having a fishing tournament tomorrow.  I spoke to a council man today who is volunteering for this event, and he told me all the fishing slots were sold out (first annual).  To bad it's suppose to rain, it appears a lot of people have put a lot of effort for this event.

I spoke to a public works person and he said that the ramp was delayed for this tournament.  He said that the contractor is suppose to start next week and the ramp should be done before Memorial Day.  When I see it's open, I'll post here.

Typical of PA. Docks are crap and we're lucky if they're in for 3 months.
