Arthur Sunday 4/20

What a difference a week... doesn't make.  Max temp we saw was 53 degrees.  No crappie activity in the shallows we tried (422 end of the lake).  Scratched out a living on some perch... one jumbo went in the box and a second spit the hook at the boat and tossed the bird as he swam away.  Rest of them weren't all that impressive, but they were about half 9" and half throwbacks.  Also we pretty much had the run of the lake, Easter Sunday and all.  Great day to be on the lake.  
 
Oh, no channels biting either.  Though I can't say I remember ever catching any before the lake was actually warm.
