Doe Kill

Heres the lumenok at 20yds
she lays another 30 yds

There were two other doe that came in behind me and fed through before this one came in front,
after the shot they came up and investigated the commotion.  checked out the arrow, then the deer
and they hung around for like 10 min while I am talking on the phone, moving and shooing them.
They did not leave until I lowered my bag/bow.  They were aware of me but did not spook...
I'll chalk it up to early season curiosity and EverCalm
Anyway I sure am happy!  2010 Bear Assault - Slick Trick

What's wrong with that?  Ween 'em the hard way.

In all seriousness, I've felt bad in doing that before for a few minutes anyway.  But that's life and hunting and being a predator.

It was a different adult doe and her little one that were there. Thought it was just interesting how they heard the noise and came up 75yds or so to check things out

I bet those hamburgs taste delicious. Ate the last of the deer meet on Friday. Time to restock the freezer. Thanx for the inspiration.
