Anyone fish Elk creek over the weekend???

    I saw several people fish Elk this weekend... The fishing reports page confirms my sightings...

    saturday on elk was fantastic! best day I've had - ever maybe. sunday was standard for me. love the high fast water saturday was throwing at us.

    I had a great day on Elk this saturday. I think the fast water must get their energy levels up. I had quite a few out of the fast stuff that put up a heck of a fight. Maybe it's me, but seems like the steel from the slower pulls were easier to land because they were less energetic.
     
    Anyway, not many guys out there at 7am, but started seeing more after 10am. Plenty of room for everybody. I can't believe this weather!

    Way to go and take the thread off topic jl.  All he wanted to know was if anyone fished Elk.  There goes another thread...

    Upper Elk Creek was smokin Sat!! Best day in my four years of steelheading by far!!
