shenango shoreline

i was walking the north shoreline yesterday (east of causeway) and found a dead trophy muskie. of course i didnt take a camera let alone a tape. it wasnt that decompose yet. stepping it off, i'm saying it would go a little over 40" and real fat. was also surprised at a couple mature walleye laying around (20 inchers). old age?

It's possible, just like humans, fish can die at any age from a plethora of causes.
