    Some people grind them up, can them & make patties. I never ate one. Once when I was little me and my dad caught a big female. I remember my gram. fried up the eggs.

      When I moved near Lake Arthur in 1985 the local folks went nuts over the spring sucker runs. Reminds me of salmon runs, most suckers were in the 22" - 28" range.

    Dang- that's huge! The biggest I've ever seen was maybe 22".

    Nothing wrong with catching a few big suckers they give a nice fight thats what its all about.
