best glo sticks

I put polystic global on my bonnets and lures and it seemed to work great and last. Anyone else try this or know any other good ways to better night fishing without scaring fish like with using a head light?

    We use enriched Uranium.
It generates a nice soft glow that lasts for hours.

I have an underwater light that I use. It has 196 green LED's on it. It's pretty bright. It draws in the micro organisms which draw in the minnows. The minnow draw in the crappie. The crappie seem to draw in the muskie. I'm not interested in the muskie though. That light is worth its weight in gold to me. I won't go night fishing without it.

Will that spook the steelhead? Every time I shine a light at night they instantly swim the other direction. There's so much activity but as soon as I turn a light on they all swim the other way. And I am not surebut it seems like they don't even notice any flies I present so I tried adding glow material to the flies. Will the underwater light you use allow them to see my flies without glow strips?

What are you using glow sticks for again? Steelhead will hit at night on flies that don't glow.

Sorry Mack. I didn't realize that you were talking about steelhead fishing. I use the underwater light for panfish. I've never used it for steelhead. I bet it would work though. That green light doesn't seem to spook fish at all.
