No doubt there is a financial benefit to the economy. And no doubt that they promote it ( works well when trying to influence landowners & officials for access ). But it wasn't the driving force behind it's creation, nor the driving force behind it's continuance. The economic benefit is more what HELPS it continue, than WHY it continues.

make it earlier? I'll be WAY done fishing by then..i don't fish all day anymore ...I'm oldduud (not really THAT old) just arthritic from all the brOken stuff from the knuckledayz) and it's hurts too much to fish all day now if you have any narcotics to share, i might stay longer..... ..l.T.A.

g-man, you wanna do a couple of tabs of extra-strength tylenol....100mg. bet i whine louder than you when it comes to arthritis.
thanks CF acetaminophen is for kids and folks with soft stomachs ...works fast, but doesn't last long Ibuprofen works best for me..it's slower, but lasts much longer between 800mg doses and my stomach is like cast iron ....there's a 500 count bottle in every vehicle i own  ..l.T.A.

Spoon, Purdy sure when I saw 'em in the 70's Golden Earring was the opening act. in the STEEL CITY Lots ov smoke  to see through though festival seating, 5 bucks & no seats on the floor, oh yeah the Coho run on Elk was banner. that yr. got 3 fines fishing Erie one day though, dang Fish Fuzz!!! yinzes abunch ov erie hunchbacks iv u ask me we've got a thing that's called "STEELHEAD LOVE!!!"

and my stomach is like cast iron
Got the great big ones that the VA gave me. It takes like two doses to get the inflammation down, but once it starts to work it really works.

Must be the one at N. Kingsville exit near the truck stops ....appx 30 miles west of Elk Never been there..but reckon since the age of the internet, biz would be way down for all the porn stores . I just kind'a assumed the truckers I occasionally see there are trolling for lot lizards. If you get skunked at Elk, I figure you could "catch" Some Thing Der  ..L.T.A.

When you learn to fish in any condition you will catch fish in any condition= Fact. Ain't shoot you can do about fish numbers or keeping people from keeping their limit. There are plenty of fish in the creeks. Just gotta learn to catch em. You get better with time. And walking always leads to more IMO. No elistist here.
A bad day fishing is better than a good of anything. I don't always exercise my shoulders...but when I do I fish for steelhead....
