Wet bait

How do you guys keep you dough ball for carp? I used to keep mine in a ziploc bag but it seems to get wet in the pack very easily? When I but it in the bag it feels useable, but when I pull it out it's sort of slimy? Any tips on how to store it? It has also gotten moldy on me in the fridge, but that may have been, left it out of the fridge for a while. But I was just curious to how you guys kept yours, thanks in advance.

I think you would be better off making smaller fresh batches than trying to save it. There are not preservatives in it so unless you add some it will mold being in a bag. The heat will create the moisture and cause this. If it doesn't stay on well for you trying adding some corn flour to help bind it. Dough will work but there are a ton of other things out there as well to mess around with for carp.

I wasn't trying to save it, just made some more today and was curious to how people stored it, don't want to waste it again.

When making cornmeal, turn it out to a plate and use a plastic shopping bag to make a flat round bout 1/4 " thick and let it cool before you put it in a ziplock...if you put it in hot it will sweat and you dont want that....
I make 1 cup at a time and pitch it when i'm done fishin.....
1 cup of cornmeal to 1.1/2 cup of water and cook it till it comes to a ball and your done......Big carp love cornmeal.......
