EZ Dub- anyone around have a good stock of it?
Hi guys and gals,
I've started tying a bunch of Czech nymphs lately and while dubbing ropes/loops look great, they are more of a pain than they are worth I think. I have EZ-dub in creme and olive (small size) and they look pretty good tied that way. So I'm looking to see if anyone knows of a retailer that has a good supply of EZ dub in the Pgh area (southern and eastern areas).

Rick, Not sure where you're located but Sportman's Warehouse off of Mt Nebo and 279 has an excellent selection of fly tying material. Lou

HI Lou,
At the moment I'm in England. However this Saturday I'll be landing in the airport and for 2 weeks I'll be around Latrobe and the Mon Valley. I'm also making a trip down to cabelas after Christmas. So pretty much anywhere in the region is a place to start.
I know Gander Mountain carries EZ dub, but I don't know what they have in stock. I was hoping someone had seen it out lately.

that would be great. There is a good chance I'll be making a cabelas trip before Christmas which would take me right past.

I am in northern England near York. Technically I am in East Yorkshire, about 15 miles from the east coast, about 30 miles south of the yorkshire moors. Rachel lives in west London and we've been fishing down here way in Hampshire. Both trips out we've fished the Test and its carriers.
Skip,
Both trips have been on the Test. The first time we were on the main stem. The second trip was on a carrier of the main stem. For much of its length, the test is split into carriers. It looks a lot like the braids you get on the alaskan streams. A carrier will split off for a mile and it is like a tiny stream (think Letort FFO section). Eventually it will rejoin the mainstem.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for checking. I'll have a stop in on our way through and pick some stuff up. Not sure we'll get to stop by and fish on Sunday since we have a bunch of other stops to do on the way, but possibly the following week.
Do you know if the gamelands rifle range is open? I have a new encore frame sitting and home and a barrel on the way. I'm going to shoot it in the next two weeks before I bring it over here, I just have to figure out where.

I live withing hearing distance of the Rifle Range on 245, but I can honestly say I have'nt heard anyone shooting down there lately. I'll drive by tomorrow afternoon and check. My neighbor has a nice range just over the hill from my place you can use. I can make arrangements with him if you'd like.
