Your all a bunch of goons---or is it thugs----awww heck, your just all around not nice guys

Actually those are some darn nice bucks for a state with no antler restriction and a three buck limit. Maybe we should take more notice of their program. I wonder if that's typical of the state or they just videoed a restricted area.

So how do you feel about that kind of technology? Are they going to be available to purchase or is that for research only?

not sure what advantage they would have for hunting ... other than guys could really get a good idea about buck doe ratios and see what is really in their area at night...

plus they would not be shining lights into someone's front window with a spotlight

I did found it interesting when they were talking about how folks do not really see all the bucks and thus think the ratio is out of whack.. I'm probably a good example of that one.. I see 10 times more females than males.. and have always thought the ratio was bad around here...

BUT, at the same time, I can not remember the last time I went spotlighting at night either...

I highly doubt it would become legal...just think of all of the poaching that would take place

I have a Nightvision pair of binoculars.

    Pretty cool at night.

What generation are they and how far out do they work?

Heck, in Toys R Us the other day, saw the "Spy" toys for kids and I think some of the night vision stuff they are selling there is Gen 1 and fairly cheap, too.

    I think Gen 2.

I watched a State Trooper give a fella a ticket a quarter mile away down the road from my house.

If they don't see more use they may get donated to the local WCO(good man).

Wife got them for me for Christmas to try and catch a couple of the local poachers working our fields, they have since moved out of state.

Awfully green grass down there, how 'bout it ?

I learned long ago to take things with a grain of salt and ask questions and do some research before getting too excited.
