Hows the river conditons up Tionesta? Plan on hitting it Sat and Sun for smallies before spending a relaxing Monday in the woods.?

if I remember right Red Childrsess reported the smalmouth bite was excellent for few days a few weeks ago. Im sure the colder weather changed that somewhat.
If the river slow.
I plan on going up to Kinzua below the dam and try the new pier, looks cool. Anyone know when the pier is not fiahable, the water being let out is at 5570. Any input would be appreciated

No buck but landed the biggest northern of the year out of the river, easily 35-37, even had a little belly, got 3 more between 20"-25" got them all on silver/black rapala about 5'.
