Guess the secrets out...let the parade begin.   FWIW, at least 1 30" 'eye came outta there this spring. On a side note, been catching quite a few of these at Wilhelm the past week...  I think they're green sunfish...don't look exactly like the one on the PFBC page, but I think they're just colored up for the spawn? Has the mouth of a bass. This one was only ablut 4-5" long, and I could thumb him with no problem. They have the black spot on the dorsal & anal fins as described for greens. Can see them better here...  ...any experts care to weigh in?

They look like greenies to me. I catch them all the time at Glendale while crappie fishing. Never caught one through the ice though.

Not an expert by any means but I found that the green sunfish "readily hybrydize" with other sunfish. To me it looks like a cross betwen the green sunfish and any one of the other sunfish types.

I fished Wilhelm yesterday, it was slow, fish commision was out and the wind sucked. We boated 12 largemouths, one was small. A couple of nice 4-5 pounders. We fished west of 79 in the gamelands stumps.

Are the Muskies only in the main lake or are they in the gamelands portion of the lake as well?

Hmmm, no idea, no reason why they wouldnt be anywhere in that lake. There is a lot more cover up in the stumps so they may go up to feed on the bait fish and blue gills up there. There were a couple of big carp. I also saw a couple of big fish jump out in the middle of the lake, could have been carp

Sevenmile....the area u fished west of 79...was it in the gamelands? Or just before. It looks like there is a stretch right before the log boom.
Also can you use a elec tolling motor in the gamelands or is it paddle only?

There's a small area just west of 79, before the log boom, that's outboard friendly.
Past the log boom, it's electric only until you get up past Sheakleyville road.
West of Sheakleyville road is the propagation area *NO ENTRY*
Further west still, beyond Cemetery road in Sheakleyville, is paddle only.
