Pymatuning Report 5/29/11 North end

fished north end 1:30pm to 5:00 - out of padanaram 6' to 12' - west side using worm and chartruse jig (then berkley power bait minnows, believe it or not they worked better than the worms because we ran out of crawlers) - wind out of ssw drifting - caught 30 eyes with 2 keepers - 4 crappie 4 perch and half a dozen catfish - at boat ramp ODNR out of akron checked us - all good - just can't figure out why he was there from the akron office.

    Yeah we actually got checked out on the boat yesterday...odnr was out checking everyone...all was good, and its good to see them checking...lots of ppl getting busted for keeping small eyes, one boat they said had 8 eyes all were under 14"...can't ppl read freaking regulations?

    The worst day hunting or fishing will always be better then the best day at school or work!

    Don't know if they were or not, they said they caught a few boats with small fish...actually I have to say, I personally saw one boat full of Amish throwing small fish back, I watched them throw 2 small eyes and a small catfish in...
