2011 PM. spring gobbler hunt

The way I read the 2011 spring pm. hunt is May 16-31. Am I right or did I interpret it wrong.

I would say you are correct.  After the 3rd saturday you can hunt all day.  I am excited to see how the afternoon  hunting will be.  And how much time I will spend in the woods compared to crappie fishing.  Or will it be the other way around?

If you don't want any problems with the green trucks then you should ask them instead of asking for opinions on a message board.
But yes you read it correctly

    until one-half hour after sunset.

Don't care much for this. I'm afraid too many will shoot them on roost at dark.

i'll second that... i think a lot will get shot off the roost in the evening, but i like the idea of being able to hunt in the afternoons

I think there's more than a few shot off the roost in the morning, but agree there will probably be a few more shot off in the eve.

I know some folks will do the nasty roost thing but I think they would do it regardless of what time it is. That,s on them. Just glad I don,t have to schedule vacation in order to hunt spring turk season in my own neck of the woods.
