    Buy automotive battery cables.
Is your question what is the minimum that I can get away with.
    Wrong approach-use the largest.
#4 or #6 or even #2 battery cable should have the ends soldered on that you need for the connections.
You can not go to big and the larger the cable=more power

If your circuit breaker isn't waterproof, mount it inside the battery box. You could mount it directly to the positive post.Should stay dry there. If waterproof, it doesn't matter where you mount it. Just a thought.

It is the minn kotta 60 amp circuit break and is waterproof. So just gonna mount on side of battery box so it comes out when i take the battery out.As far as soldered i dont really wanna do that because the wires will be dangleing around when trying to charge battery dont want them to come in contact with anything.

I have to re-wire my boat for the trolling motor also...How important is the circuit breaker and if important, what size should I get?  I don't think it has one on it now that's why I'm asking. I am working on it today (provided the weather holds up) and need to know if I should get one or not...thanks for the info...
