Go to Tractor Supply, pick up a group 27 deep cycle "Stow-Away" series.

I buy cheap marine batteryies from a car parts store 60$ I get about 3 good years out fo them. I have a fully loaded decked 14 foot boat with a 25hp and 4hp motor and side stearing console two man full of musky gear and i can go almost all day.

Keep in mind i might be in thick weed or fighting the wind to hold position, so my advise is buy a good quality battery size 27 or larger and you should be fine for a long time. From what i am hearing look at AGM (absorbed glass mat) batteries, when my current batter dies i will be pickin up 1 of those.
