Flashy Buggers

I've been playing around with some variations of wooly bugger patterns. I had alot of success with chrystal meth sucker spawn my last trip to the elk in late October and decided to try tying wooly buggers with a chrystal color diamond braid wrap. Won't get to try them out till the first week of December. Has anyone used  "Flashy Buggers" before and had success? Or does anyone have any tips that they want to share? Thanks for checking out my post.

    flashy buggers work well, I tie them with Petite estaz, krystal flash or flashabou though, not the diamond braid.  Flashier the better it seems like.

    I was using one, well a woolly worm version this morning and had a hook up.  I have had pretty good luck with buggers tied with a rainbow chenille.  It is flashy, almost like an estaz, but not as bulky.  I have tied it over olive, white and black hackle. 
     
    I tied some up with a silver braid, gray marabou and gray hackle.  I put a little rainbow crystal flash in the tail.  This fly pretty much looks like a minnow and has been productive.  I landed a jack on of these flies this morning.

    Seen a guy spankin steelies on a copper colored woolybugger on Elk last year.
