Bow Tech Bows

Any of you guys shoot a Bow Tech ? I'm going to get a new bow this off season. I shot my friends new bow it was a Bow Tech Tribute. It really shot smooth. But for the money is quite pricey.($700) I can get into a Mathews Drenalin for about the same money. Just wondered if they were worth the money??
Might have a Mathews FX 60-70lb, 29" draw ($389 new), Custom 3D XL Scope with 2 apertures ($180 new), Platinum Premiere Rest ($100 new), Quickie quiver($25), 6 carbon arrows ($36), 3 new Rocket Broadheads ($25), and had a new Zebra string and harness ($50) installed this season. The bow is only 5 years old and has never been abused..

Bow tech make nice bows.  At this point, so does everyone else.  I shot a Drenalin and didn't care for it.  It was too light, like 3.85 lbs.  I found myself more steady with a heavier bow, just .75 pounds made a difference.   $700 is alot for a bow.  I don't want to make you think the Drenalin wasn't nice.  If money is an issue, there are cheaper ones around that'll perform just fine.  Compound bows are like fly rods; made far better than they need to be.

Been shooting Bowtech for 3 years now and can honestly say I will shoot it until it explodes.  Smooth, fast, durable, accurate.  Worth every penny.  If cost is a concern, look at the DIAMOND brand.  They are basically models similar to the Bowtech brand but cheaper.  They are made by Bowtech too.  I  believe it is Diamond by Bowtech on the limbs.  Hope this helps.

I've shot a bowtec over the past 2 years. Its well made, quiet and shoots great. I'm planning on buying a new bowtech or maybe a diamond black ice before next years season.

I was in a local proshop before season started and a guy was shooting a new pse x-force. With a hunting setup it was shooting about 310 fps. Thats nearly unheard of. Most people look at the sticker on their bow and assume it is shooting the IBO speed. IBO is measured shooting a 350gr arrow, at 70 pounds, with a 30 inch draw. There is nothing added to the string such as a peep sight or silencers. When you start adding a heavier arrow weights, shorter draws, peep sights etc... you end up slowing you bow significantly. Nobody's hunting setup shoots the same as thier IBO speed. I guess my point is, the x-force was shooting faster than any other hunting setup i've ever seen. I'm considering one for next year.

I believe Diamond bows are single cams and bowtechs are dual cam, but botha re made by the same company...and the company was just bought out by Savage (the firearm people).
