Wednesday fishing report

What a beautiful day to be on the ice! Forgot my suntan lotion!!!

Fished a little over 3 hours for 19 keepers. Three were really nice, the other 16 all around the 8 inch mark. Threw many dinkers back.

I'm getting in a rut - 50/50 Rapala and Genz. Nice not to monkey around with live minnows.

Oh...off Chestnut Street.

No need to worry chrishinesg.......Usually the guys who report nice catches with no information behind them are just telling fish tales..However I have been killing the perch off Chestnut...Line yourself up with the channel and have a ball....Plenty of perch to limit out everyday and several steelhead as well.Glow jigs tipped with Emerald Shinners are the ticket.Have limited last 11 times out.All nice fish but you have to weed through them..

Who is being greedy--the guy not sharing their honey hole or the guy asking for it (not saying anyone specifically)?

We all have our differences, I prefer not to ask for locations and enjoy the challege of "patterning" fish.

I also prefer not to be spoon fed like a child. Sooner or later you have to let go of daddy's hand, and find your own way.

And it would really be nice if the guys asking for reports would post some spots that they didn't get from asking other guys where they're catching their fish.

never asked for a spoon fed report, but a fishing report is just that-information on a fishing trip...anything else is just bragging,if in fact the limited info is true....i dont see any of these people reporting a slow day...so its puffy chested bragging or lying....also, i never said we are the same but of a "same breed" meaning we all enjoy the same thing-fishing...ive let several people know the exact spots where i have done good, just ask around...i have been to pleasant, had the lake to myelf, did well and posted it...fished an area of the bay with nobody there, did well and let anyone that wanted to know where i was...so i definately give more info than i get(except for a certain few)...i have never run into so many fishermen in my life that are so up tight...i fish to relax, catching alot of fish is a bonus...if you are that hungry, and the fish you have found are that valuable...REMAINDER REMOVED BY USER

AHHH.....Just end this thread.....I guess what they are saying is if you want to brag about a great day of fishing and wont post any info other than your fish stories then who really cares about your report.I mean really,If you said i was fishing off Chestnut thats pretty vague..Pretty LARGE area. There are alot of posers on this site and I believe there are a couple on this thread.I post honest reports and leave information as to where i caught them,Depth, etc and believe me I have never been gang rushed by a bunch of fisherman after posting my so called "HARD EARNED" information. So it is really simple,If you want to post a report with no substance to it then guess what...Its simply a bunch of BS and nobody gives a ****...

i agree...im glad to see others see a fishing report as something that needs a little info...as opposed to just bragging or making it up
