    Yea this is as far from Traditional as you can get 

    It Weighs 18 Grams  about .63 ounces 

    A standard Cork Grip weighs about 25 grams or so  about .88 ounces so the weight difference is quite a bit

    Bet it gets cold to hold in winter. Still though, it looks cool.

    I'll be fishing this rod in Georgia. What's winter?
