Ridgway area bait shops

I'm looking to fish up in ridgway in a couple weeks. Are there any nearby bait shops where I could buy minnows? Thanks for the help!

What direction/route will you travel to get there?
I work in that area at times, and can check with some of my co-workers to see if they know of any...

I'll be taking 66/28 north out of Apollo to Brookville then 219 north out of Brockway to Ridgway. Any shops with minnows along that route? Thanks guys.

I'm guessing that you might want to hit up Transuies Bait & Tackle in Kittanning if you're coming up 28. - 724-543-6964
You could check with Rich's Outdoor World in Summerville on 28, between New Bethlehem and Brookville. - 814-856-2395
I think Rich's also has stores in Brookville  - 814-220-0010 and in DuBois - 814-371-4905

He closed the store in Dubois, so I would highly suggest getting your minnows before getting in this area. This area sucks for us ice fisherman no bait shops anywhere so we have to trap our own.

try NUSSBAUM FEED and Seed. He has a self service tank outside. He is in Saint Marys.

As far as going to WalMart, and buying feeders. Not only is it illegal, but it is not very smart to introduce non native fish into our waterways. ASIAN CARP ring a bell.
