What is it worth ?

A friend of mine wants to buy a gun from me & i have no idea what its worth.......help anyone. If my memory serves me correctly i would say i bought this gun in 1980, it is a  remington model 700 bdl ??( the fancy one ) 7mm rem mag with a redfield 3-9 widefield scope in excellent condition. Probably shot 3-4 boxes of shell through  it .     I would check on www.gunbroker .com for comparable rifles

    should be worth anywhere from $350-$425 depending on condition and what level/model redfield scope is on it? 7mm mag not the popular cal.(but a good one lol) for around here,but a great flat shooting cal. for out west though!, hope that helps?? Jim

    i had said $350-$425(most ppl can buy them used allday long for that price)   a gun dealer may get $400-$500 out of it (but thats top $$) but if pghmarty feels it worth that and is willing to pay top dollar you may wanna see if he wants it??someome maybe willing to tell u its worth that but ask them if they themselves would get their wallet out and pay that????? infact i may have a pile of guns i would sell him in that case lol! not trying to dog u out pghmarty lol !!just being realistic to that seller! and again it depends on how long u wanna sit on it too?

    First thanks for the help, this is what he wants it for hunting out west & he offered $550.00 for it . I guess i should sell it then

    I bought Remington BDL's in the off season for $300-$400 then sell on gunbroaker or at shows before hunting season for  $400 - $500 or more

    if that gun has the heavy barrel its worth a tad more than $700...just a tid of info..just so you know
