Top flys on the Oak!

I am making my first trip to the Oak in early November. I generally fish Erie often and know what to use. What are some good flies for steelies, browns, or salmon? Is it pretty similar to Erie? I got a lot of tying to do. I appreciate any info.

I use the exact same things I use in Erie, and always do well. Eggs, buggers, leaches is all you need. I use 3x seaguar tippet and a nine foot leader. Just remember, no more than one hook on a line(no tandem rigs) and no trebles. Take lead splitshot cause they don't sell it there. Only thing you might need different for NY than Erie is a bigger net for salmon, but most of them will be old and half dead by then.
