The Pine Creek Trip

Well I made the trip, had to cut it short, but still the smallmouth fishing was great. Fishing various spots from Waterville down to Torbert village the best fishing was just before dawn until about 10 am. I prefer surface lures and the Heddon tiny torpedo produced the best for me; later in the day a night crawler on size 4 hook  4lb test would coax them out from the rocks.  I had planned on pictures but the digital got dunked ( this is not the first time this has happened) and is ruined.. But even so the place is beautiful and the creek still has plenty of fish; every one I caught was released.  Fishing in the evening was not as productive as I thought it would be.
