Does anyone know when they are going to close the road (law road wilmore side) to do repairs? I saw the sign hanging up at the gate.

I never had luck fishing for carp up there with corn. I always wanted to catch a carp up there cause i know there are some reel biguns in that lake. I was gonna try to go fly fishing for them but never really took the time out to learn how to fly fish. I even bought a brand new $16.00 rod at walmart last year for it. I heard it is a blast, just like bone fishing in the keys. BTW dont rule out a big cat, that sounds exactly how the one in the picture i posted hit.

yes almost every night, cat bite has been very slow. livers and crawlers and some stupid crap from gander mountain for cats--even used some stink, only catching small ones. The carp bit was on last night down by the breast, we got 4 off of the pier, and also some crappie. Saturday night was the night for crappie, between 4 of us we kept 52. All crappie were 10 or above0and also some real "hogs" around 13-14. Thanks again to YANOVS BAIT SHOP for supplying us with some "live" minnies, unlike some other local bait shops--its a real bummer when you buy 8 dozen minnies and get to the lake and you have 21 live ones left! YANOVS WILL GET MY BUSINESS!!

Gonna hit wilmore sunday sometime. Not sure when but i will be out on my inflatable pontoon. More then likely my dad will be wiht me on this trip and he has the same kind of boat. Youll know when u see us. Out pontoons are blue and silver in color. Dont be afriad to say hi. We will probably be fishing up the upper end of the dam in the feeded stream.

Hit up Wilmore tonight. Talk about low I never saw it like that, the boat launch is a foot or two out of the water. We fished off the dock for about a hour and cought a few perch.

Ya they worked on it some, its alot better than it was. That road sucks,would love to see them pave it. They are working on the bridge now, its pretty bad too.

Looks like it is already replaced, with a new floor. They were still working on it, mabey rails? It was open to drive over the other day.
