ZINKED ONE TODAY

We were only hunting till 8:30 so we could be back at the garage by 9 or 9 30.I meet the old man at the car at 8:25.He told he just saw to big birds when he was gathering his coys not sure if they were gobblers though he said.I said lets circle them before we leave we did just that.We went to the bottom i yelp a few times nothing then a cutt still nothing.We were walking back out then he hammered it very close.By the time we got by a tree here they came to our right.I was on the right pow lights out.I thought i could get the other one to come back but he didn't.I would say this bird is over 20 lb's.The beard measured 10 and 3/4 inches right spur inch and a qurter left is tore up may 7/8 inches.

    Congrats Chicky,nice bird.I've not been out yet,do to my line of work,but will get out later this month.About purring when they get close,I can do it with my mouth,without a mouth call,I also hoot my mouth.

    I think it worked.I called a 8 3/4 inch beard 2 year old in for the old man yesterday at 8:30.Now if my daughter would of killed hers we would of been done for the year.

    Here's is the old mans also taking with a cellphone.The wife took the camera to work with her but these aren't bad pics.
