Try the attached site--listen to the "purr" call--should work.

I can purr pretty good on mouths calls but if i could mix a whine in there once in a while that might just be the deal sealer.I have gotten complents on how i purr using a mouth call but to me it sounds alright.I'm looking for a mouth that i can make some super soft purrs on an maybe a few clucks. The zink x ladys makes awesome purrs but when i go to the woods an try it sounds kind of loud to me as a matter of fact i want today to a wood i don't hunt to practice purring called in a longbeard and a jack to 40 or 45 yards.

I killed and called in several birds for others,YELPS,CLUCKS, and PURRS kill turkeys.Less is better in most cases.Ive killed some late season giants, with nothing more than a few clucks and a purr or too when there close. My gun will stone then to 45 yards, but only shot one at that range, the idea is to call them in,most birds are killed between 15- 25 yards,I like to hear them hissing and spitting, kind of makes the hair on the back of head stand up.If more guys got in the woods and listen to a real hens talk, they would become turkey hunters,I self taught myself how to hunt turkeys and step number one was to get in the woods at fly down and just listen to the REAL DEAL,if you can't learn from real turkeys,I don't think all the tapes in the world will help.

Chick,I'm no champ caller,I use a couple of slate calls( Talkin Stick)maple striker(favorite),Mr Fred Nugent(he hunts with Denny Galvis) made me the greatest box call I've ever had and I have a pile of boxes. Two kind of Purrs fighting purrs used by toms, very aggressive loud purrs,I've heard it many times in the woods, but I only use soft, contented purrs of a hen, they cluck and purr real soft,a couple clucks, followed by 3-4 soft purrs, repeat, fools the smartest Giants in the woods,it works on the turkeys that have been pounded by other hunters.I once put my cusin on a 3 year old bird that roosted in the same tree everday,he got him to gobble in the tree several times each day,but as soon as his feet hit the ground the show was over, after 10 days my cousin said, that turkey could not be killed.I said you give up? he said yea.Next day one dead turkey,no calling to him on the limb and he never gobbled on his own,but I knew he was there,He flew down and I made two clucks,no gobble,2 or 3 purrs, and I ruffled some leaves behind my back with my hand,2-3 more purrs, bang, shot at 7 yards 10 3/4 beard,1 1/4 spurs, some time less more,if you know what I mean, soft contented purrs really calm a turkey doow.
