fish rising almost all afternoon

    cold
    no surface activity until it was almost dark........
    a BWO cdc pattern size 20 was the ticket  --  also took a few fish on a CDC Red Quill size 14

    warm and sunny afternoon and evening
    caddis in the afternoon and Hendricksons in the evening
    saw a few craneflies also
     
    bait guys were doing pretty good
     
    plenty of fish left in this stream
