2010 Recycledfish.org 24 Hour Fish-A-Thon

Hey All....

Recycled Fish is doing it again..2010 24 hour Fish-A-Thon. Getting an early start on participants this year. We're shooting for the beginning of Sept. and we're trying to get teams together to fish, raise money, and win cool prizes. Its simple, put a team together, fish the body of water of your choice for 24 hours, and raise money for conservation. If anyone is interested in more information, contact Buddy@recycledfish.org

Thanks

Recycled Fish the national non-profit organization of “anglers living a lifestyle of stewardship both on and off the water, because our lifestyle runs downstream.” We started out talking about Catch and Release, but it’s bigger than that now. If we want to catch more and bigger fish today and leave healthy waters for our grandkids, it takes living a Lifestyle of Stewardship both on and off the water. On the water, we promote the S.A.F.E. Angling concept – “Sustaining Angling, Fish and Ecosystems.” It’s the practices and products we can use to live as stewards when we’re on the water. It’s non-toxic and biodegradable tackle, single barbless hooks, and it’s cleaning up trash when we find it. It's not just Catch and Release, Selective Harvest is part of living as a steward on the water, too.   But our choices every day – whether we have a low flow shower head, what we’re putting on our lawns, or whether we recycle and buy recycled – that matters just as much, because Our Lifestyle Runs Downstream. Please take the Sportsman’s Stewardship Pledge and join us – our lakes, streams and seas need not just sportsmen, but Stewards.
