manatawny creek with the kids

fishing was slow........saw a golden mid-pool but he would not take anything......I ended up using a float and dropped some maggots about 8 feet from the float........hooked two fish.........one for each kid to reel in........we kept them and the kids just finished eating them......grilled em' up....the fish were working the surface......chasing emergers.....hendricksons.............

    took Zoe out yesterday with her fly rod..........she caught a 1 year old wild brown trout....the fish was a monster............!!!!
