Drove past Chestnut Saturday morning around 9 and did not see many huts out there, less than a dozen. The weather was bad on Saturday , not sure about Sunday.

I fished the stinkhole and Misery Sunday with a friend and both places were terrible for fish and the drag was even worse. 8 inches of new snow and underneath 8 inches of slush a real mess.

Was out past the dock yesterday. Walked off from Rum Runners. Caught over 40 perch, but only kept 16 of them all 8 1/2 and bigger. Ice was 9 1/2 inches but was softer than it was three weeks ago when i last used a hand auger.
