WILHEIM LAKE / REPORT

wOULD LIKE A SNOW REPORT IF ANYBODY SEES PORK out-n-about tell him to give us one.. NW/

    hey jigmaster, didn't venture out on the lake today...
    but Sandy Lake got around 8-10" all together with this last snow.
    I did drive by & it appeared the snow on the lake was soaking up water creating sloppy spots.
    Ice was better the further away from the dam you were last time I was on it.

    WET --LEG-- AND -- **** THIN ICE AT PARKING LOT BESIDE THE DAM ...!!! WAS STANDING ON A TRAIL WHERE SOMEONE HAD GONE OUT AHEAD OF ME, AND ALL THE SUDDEN MY LEG WENT THROUGH UP TO MY **** !! NOT A GOOD WAY TO START THE FISHIN DAY.. BACK-HOME I GO..

    Wow nw/ glad you just got a wet leg....that's the same trail I was out on Monday the 8th...there was 4" of ice then but it was wet on top...then we got the snow....temps haven't been above freezing...must be rotten out from underneath.

    But....I did say...
    Ice was better the further away from the dam you were last time I was on it.

    Glad you're ok.

    how cold is the water? u can tell by how many days it takes for ur balls to come back out.lol

    Hit the water down from launch 2.
    Found many crappie.
    Kept 8, but had many more on the line.
    Aqua camera and fish make for a good time.
    I think we had more fun watching them on tv then actually fishing.
