I personally am yet to try it also until possibly this year as well, but my thoughts are good cover perfectly planned movements and decoys to draw attention to something else...

I would say a blind is a must I went last year and decided to only hunt with a bow for eeverything I was in a doublebull and had turkeys so close I could of grabbed them the first day I had a hen with a 6 in. Beard at 3 foot and decided not to shoot bad decision but they are fearless of them they had to walk around the blind and didn't spook.

They are expensive but worth it you can also get any other as long as its a hub design the double bulls is my neighbors but I got one from gander for like 170 and it seems to work for me it has the bowshooting windows which are nice and if you get one get one with all black inside and when you get to your spot where a black top facemask and gloves tukeys can't see you at all.

I've cut feathers off 4 over the years with no blood. Finally killed my first one last fall. You can kill them in the spring using two hunters. Position the shooter 40 yds in front of the caller facing the caller. Wait until the gobbler walks past the shooter and is strutting with tail feathers covering the head. Aim for the a-hole. I bought a blind last month as it is no doubt the easiest way to go.

I cheated--got a fall jake with a crossbow. Just like shooting with a rifle.
