Anybody head off of chestnut today or 2nd parking lot? Looking at getting back out there again Friday or Sunday.

Alaskan, I was off the 4th lot on Wednesday afternoon.  Marked a lot of nice fish, only caught dinks.  Wind picked up came off the ice with a fellow fishing to the East of me, he did get a nice bucket of gills.

I think that it was last year or the year before that I heard of a 7 puonder (walleye) being pulled through the ice in the vicinity of the Buoy. Must be a couple of them swimming around down there.

Two years ago ran into a guy & his wife off Chestnut, they'd caught two walleye that day.  There should be some coming in during March.  Never caught one myself in PI.  Did get a nice bucket of perch & big gills yesterday off lot 2.

Hello fellow fishermen and women, time to put away the ice gear and start bringing out the spring gear! It has been a real pleasure talking with all of you on the forums, and we will have to continue on the other fishing forums until next ice fishing season. Open water is starting to pop up here and the there and the ice is in my opinion to shaky to go on. Time to get out the small row boats electric motors to get the ice out fish.
see you all next winter on the ice fishing forums for those who only hardwater fish, and talked to you on the spring and summer fishing ones next for the rest of us.
