Opposite corner of PA....Erie, right on the lake....we have a peninsula (11 miles or so) wrapping around in front of Erie creating a nice large bay....come up some time!

Sounds great! Would love that, just a little far to go but truly appreciate the invite. Erie is really a big fish factory from what I read and see on boards like this... I just might have to plan some vacation time that way in the future! I heard the walleye are huge and hungry! That is really my passion!

If you could get some friends together to split the ride and the costs involved, a charter for walleye and/or the "head boat" for perch would be a nice (not too costly) weekend in Erie, even if you have no boat along. Summer in Erie is awesome. Lots of other good stuff too, like the beaches. Free music all summer too.

Chili Pepper, That sounds like it is do-able, I have a boat... and friends... and like to fish for Walleyes & perch... I love it when a plan comes together! I'll be checking it out and asking for some guidance on where / how to fish Erie when I can put this trip together! Thanks for the encouragement and info!!

Nice mess of fish. Bringing the wife and kids up there tomorrow if I don't have to plow snow in the morning. Hope we can get into them like you did.

Thursday was a fair bite day also. 3 hours into the fishing I got one 15" crappie. The picture on the ice doesn't do it justice so when I got home, my wife insisted I get a better picture. Now THIS is a crappie!!!
