Saturday's Ice Fishing Report

Had my best day ice fishing Presque Isle in years! A little like fishing in Canada, it even felt like it, man the wind was howling. 22 perch, 19 bluegills, 5 largemouth bass, plus many throwbacks. Fished from 9 til noon. Caught most on chartreuse 1/64 oz. jig head with as many maggots as I could fit on the hook, and maybe 10 altogether on an orange Rapala. Any care for a blindfold test to see if they can tell the difference eating a perch or bluegill?

You get a lot of pumpkinseeds in the bay, years ago,and I'm talking way back,50 fish limit of true giants 9- 10 inch pumpkinseeds, now 7-8 inch fish are the norm.
