Thompsons Lake Contest Cancelled

Hey I thought I would save some of you a trip. The contest that was going to be this Saturday was cancelled due to thin ice the first 50', thanks to the more water coming in then going out situation. I fell through yesterday in the first three steps. The boss or park policy ( I'm not sure) says we need at least 6" to hold the contest. Sorry for the let down. Also if you fished that lake before the rains and caught a huge pickeral about 26" and 5-6 pounds, and when you got home and found it missing, its located under the guardrail on 157 by the Berne/Knox town line. Nice fish though!!! Well gotta go and get ready for the Northern Challenge at Simons Pond. WATCH THE SHORE ICE!!!!!!
